Submission Details
Rolling submissions:
Submit directly for consideration in our first issue (December 2026), or to our quarterly poetry competitions. All contest submissions are automatically considered for issue publication.
Reading fee:
There is NO submission fee for pieces directly submitted for consideration for the first issue. If you would like to submit poems to the Spring contest for automatic issue consideration, there is a $2 entry fee per submission (3 poems per submission, capped at 5 submissions per poet, or 15 poems total).
Honorariums:
As a budding publication, we are currently unable to guarantee compensation for work accepted to the first issue; however, this may change, contingent on any donations or monetary support we are able to obtain. If you submit to the poetry contest and any of your pieces are accepted for issue publication, we will notify you by the end of November 2026 and refund the $2 contest entry fee (please make sure to submit on the contest page)!
Submission guidelines:
Any and all genres are accepted (poetry, prose, video, visual art, music, essays, creative nonfiction, flash fiction, mixed media, translations, etc.). If submitting written work, please ensure that each piece is under two pages, double spaced. Each submission may contain up to 3 pieces (any genre). Work must be primarily human-generated (ideally 100%, though rare exceptions for artistic effect apply; please be transparent in the "AI Use" section of the submission form).
Publication rights and reprints:
Reprints are accepted; just indicate where and who has first publishing rights! Our primary intention is to collect and showcase meaningful art. Simultaneous submissions are permitted.
Submission instructions:
Please upload each submission as a double-spaced, 12-point font Word or PDF document (if writing — if another medium, no specific formatting requirements apply) to the form below.
If submitting to the poetry contest for simultaneous consideration in the upcoming issue: please use the form on the "Poetry Competition" page instead of the one below. $2 entry fees should be submitted via Stripe, our secure payment processing platform, by the contest deadline (March 31st, 2026), for submissions to be considered for the contest.
